Stella Corcoran,
director of Ridge and Valley Music Together®, always enjoyed music, dance and working with children. While taking a Music Together class with her daughter, Stella was intrigued with the research-based aspect of the program. She went for training and started the center in Hackettstown in 2002. Stella has a master's in elementary education from Fordham Universtity. She taught early elementary in New York City before moving to Independence, where she lives with her husband Chris and two children, Michelle and Daniel.
Bruce Gatewood
has had music in his life for as long as he can remember. He is active musicially on stage and in the studio, singing and playing multiple instruments. He enjoys bringing the music experience to children and famlies. He received his BA in music from New Jersey City University and is a registered Music Together teacher. Bruce currently lives in Rockaway Township with his wife Maria and their daughter Emily.
Aimee Morrill
Aimee began studying Suzuki violin at the age of three. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance from the Hartt School of Music, where she completed her long-term teacher training from the Suzuki pedagogy program. She established her first violin teaching studio in 1996 and joined the faculty of the Suzuki School of Newton in Newton, Massachusetts in 2001. Miss Morrill maintained a studio of over forty students while teaching group classes, chamber music, and Suzuki Prep (music, movement, and instrument exploration). In addition to her teaching, Aimee has coordinated outreach concerts, summer music programs, and a state-wide Suzuki festival. She is an energetic chamber musician and freelancer in both classical and English Folk music. She moved to New Jersey in August 2006 to further her relationship and to start her own Suzuki studio. She is now adding teaching Music Together classes to her resume.
Stephanie Spano
Stephanie recently graduated from The College of New Jersey, receiving a
Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education with a concentration in piano and
choral studies. After a colleague recommended the Music Together program, she
completed a Teacher Training Workshop and is looking forward to teaching her own
classes. In addition to Music Together, she is pursuing a career as a music
educator in a public school system close to her home in Morris County. She is
also available for private piano lessons.
